9.1 km circular hiking trail near Osterburken

Starting from the Limes parking lot, follow the "R" markings and pass the remains of a Roman watchtower, part of the Upper German-Raetian Limes UNESCO World Heritage Site, right at the start.

The gentle climbs of the dream tour past the specially made stone replica of the spring nymph lead hikers through a varied landscape to the outskirts of Bofsheim.

You can take a break along the way at the Jupiter bench and enjoy the idyllic view of the region.

The trail passes a total of three historic fountains located in the forest. A number of information boards along the route provide insights into Roman times and information about the two sculptures "Excavations" and "The Bridge".

If you still have energy left, you should definitely visit the faithfully reconstructed Limes watchtower at the Limes Park on the other side of Osterburken and the Roman Museum.
