A 14 km circular hiking trail in Hettingen and Rinschheim.

Starting from Forsthaus Hettingen, follow the "R" markings on this 14 km dream tour. The trail takes you past the Dolinenpfad.

A short circular route provides information about this geological feature. The Hegenichdoline and the chapel at the Hettingen Way of the Cross are interesting stops along the way.

You follow the course of the Way of the Cross for a short distance, but leave it again after a short time. The trail leads across meadows and fields past the chapel at Bubenrath to the district of Rinschheim.

Once you have passed this tranquil village, you will reach the Lausenberg with its palisade replica and a nice place to rest. Refreshed, you will pass a game reserve at the edge of the forest.

There you can see the stone monument "Iumma‘s epitaph". The Jupiter bench invites you to linger. The last section of the trail to the starting point leads past the calcite stone, two Roman watchtower remains and the Hönehaus small fort.

After the hike, a visit to the district museum in Buchen is well worthwhile. Among other things, Roman surveying art is presented here.
