On the cycle path between Amorbach and Mudau, you can discover and try out exciting scientific and technical phenomena at six adventure stations with 45 exhibits - a special experience for the whole family.

The Smart Path Odenwald runs 15 kilometers along the Main-Neckar cycle path from Mudau to Amorbach. At six different stations, 45 games and experiments await you. They are primarily aimed at children and young people aged 5 to 15 - but adults can also learn new things and get to the bottom of exciting phenomena in a fun way.

The Smart Path is free of charge and invites you to go on an exciting exploration tour all year round - whether on foot or by bike. The route from Amorbach to Mudau is around 15 kilometers long. Small detours take you to the stations and back to the main route, for example to the "Experience the forest" station at the Wildenburg castle ruins (approx. 2.5 km there and back).

Tip:
If you want to cycle downhill in a relaxed manner, start in Mudau and cycle to Amorbach - in the opposite direction, it can be a bit more challenging. The cycle route is asphalted throughout, only the junction to Wildenburg is natural. The Smart Path expedition booklet with tips and puzzles is also available for young explorers. Anreise mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln Von Anfang April bis Ende September verkehrt der NeO-Bus an den Wochenenden und Feiertagen zwischen Eberbach, Mudau und Amorbach, ebenso der NaTour-Bus zwischen Amorbach und Miltenberg. Die Fahrradmitnahme ist im Preis inbegriffen.

Alternativ ist die Anreise per Bahn mit der Westfrankenbahn nach Amorbach möglich.
