There are various information boards along the circular hiking trail that provide interesting information.

The Neunkirchen district of Neckarkatzenbach is located in the scenic surroundings of a former loop of the ancient Neckar. The field floor around Neckarkatzenbach is made accessible by a 5.4 km long "geomorphological circular hiking trail" (geomorphology = the science of the forms of the earth‘s surface and its changes).

The hiking trail leads from the parking lot at the cemetery over a footbridge behind the fire station and village community center, over to the "Kirchenblick" and on towards the "Neckarkatzenbacher Linde" on the road to Breitenbronn.

The last section leads over the Mittelberg back to the starting point. There are various information boards along the circular trail that provide interesting information.
