Seckach lies in the middle of a varied, hilly landscape at the transition from the Odenwald to the Bauland.

The "Stalactite Caves Trail" hiking tour starts at the Klinge youth village near Seckach. From there, follow the K 1 markings past Hohberg in the direction of Eberstadt. The trail leads 6.9 km to the Eberstadt stalactite cave.

This unique natural geological monument was discovered in 1971 after blasting work. Even the first cautious explorations gave an idea of the breathtaking beauty of the stalactite cave, which is unique in southern Germany. The easily accessible part of the cave winds its way around 600m through the underground shell limestone formation. Sometimes a narrow gorge, sometimes a light dome - between two and eight meters wide 
and high.
