This mountain bike tour starts in Heiligkreuzsteinach and takes you via Oberflockenbach into the Eiterbach valley - varied, with great views and castle ruins along the way.

You set off through the center of Heiligkreuzsteinach, where you can fortify yourself before the climbs begin. After the first hilltop, you will discover the Waldeck ruins, which are definitely worth a short visit. The route continues via Lampenhain along the Eichelberg to the outskirts of Oberflockenbach and to Wünschmichelbach.

After Hilsenhain, you enter the deeply incised Steinachtal valley before a steep climb to Stiefelhöhe awaits. There, it is worth making a detour to the rustic Stiefelhütte, which invites you to stop for a bite to eat. A long path then leads past the Lichtenklinger Hof ruins into the Eiterbach valley.

From here, you can enjoy a relaxed ride past the campsite back to Heiligkreuzsteinach - the perfect end to this tour through the Vorderer Odenwald.
