This mountain bike tour takes you from Heidelberg via Neckargemünd back to Heidelberg - a tour full of highlights and with sections that demand a lot from you in terms of riding technique.

The start is at Heiligenberg, from where it‘s straight down to business: the first trail takes you down into Heidelberg‘s old town. There you can experience culture and history - and enjoy refreshments in one of the many cafés or restaurants.

The ascent to the Königstuhl then awaits. You reach the Posseltslust with its famous viewpoint via well-maintained paths. At the Hilsbacher Tor gate, you can stop for a bite to eat at the Kohlhof before a rapid descent down to Neckargemünd. In the charming old town, numerous restaurants invite you to take a break.

After crossing the Neckar at Kleingemünd, the route continues halfway up the hillside. Here you can enjoy fantastic views of the Neckar valley as you roll towards Heidelberg-Ziegelhausen. From there, a longer ascent up to Zollstock awaits before returning to Heiligenberg - the perfect end to a varied tour.
