Schefflenz local history museum with the Schefflenztal collections

Many old trades have died out completely because they are no longer in demand. The Schefflenztal Collections Association is committed to ensuring that this tradition lives on, at least in our memories.

In its exhibition rooms in a building dating back to 1797, the association shows life and work in the period around 1900.

It is thanks to the activities of this association that we can still see a large number and remarkable variety of old, traditional tools, household items and agricultural implements.

You can get an impression of how laboriously our ancestors had to earn their bread and how much sweat was involved.

The museum has even been awarded a local history prize.
